Today, I wake up at 5:00 am, as I do every day, and offer Fajr prayers. Then I sleep for some time and wake up again at 8:00 am. I take a bath and prepare to go to the office. I reach the office at 9:00 am and have breakfast. Today I have to submit the curation report for the last week of November, so I'm starting to write it between office work. At 10:00 am, I focus on office work. I am an electrical engineer. My responsibility is to provide an uninterrupted power supply. I start working at a 33 kV substation with my electrical team. Today, we will do a high-potential test of a 33 kV VCB. This is the most sensitive test of the high voltage line.

High-potential testing machine
A high-potential test is used to find weak points in the electrical line. If there is a crack in the cable or a weak point anywhere in the line, this test can see it. We have two AC and DC high-voltage machines for high-potential testing. We will apply high voltage to the VCB with two machines before making the electrical connection. My electrical team has started the whole process. The high-potential test is risky, so I advise my electrical team to work from a safe distance.

Measuring voltage during high potential test
I supply 64 kV to the VCB from the outside for the high-potential test. After supplying voltage for about five minutes, I measure the voltage with the electric meter. I get my desired result. After doing the high-potential test this way until about noon, we all went out for lunch. After lunch, we came back to retake the high-potential test. We will finish doing the high-potential test by 3.00 pm.

In the afternoon, I test the VCB and deliver it to the store department as a spare. In the event of an electrical substation fault, the VCB will play a crucial role. Then I take some rest and submit the curation report to the POD community. In the afternoon, I leave for home after work. I go home and take some rest.

Then I started writing a blog on the Steemit platform. I wrote and submitted the blog at 8:00 PM. Suddenly, my younger brother called me from my village home on my mobile. My mother is very sick and is being taken to the hospital. I quickly left for home. At 9:00 PM, I reached the bus station. I reached the bus station and bought a bus ticket to Comilla. At 11:30 PM, I reached Comilla and went to my mother. I met the doctor at the hospital and got an update on my mother's treatment. Tonight is very difficult for me because my mother's health is not good.
