An afternoon lost in the rhythm of the rain

How are you all? I hope you are healthy and safe wherever you are. How is your day going? Are you overwhelmed by the pressure of work, or are you finding time to notice the small changes in nature? Seeing what happened to me here this afternoon, I thought I would have a chat with you and share some moments.

This afternoon was a little different. It was muggy since morning, and the sun's rays were burning my skin. But right in the middle of the afternoon, the scene suddenly changed. The blue sky became somewhat serious, the clouds darkened the surroundings and spread their wings. And shortly after that, the rain came down in torrents. Seeing this arrangement of nature to cool the hot earth, my mind was filled with a strange peace. I have captured this form of rain from the place where I am.

Take a look at the environment around me. There are rows of buildings under construction standing on one side. These huge concrete structures and brick walls seem to have found a new life in the rain. When these unfinished buildings stand under the grey clouds of the sky, it seems as if they were waiting for the rain with a thirst. The colours of the bricks washed by the rainwater now look darker and more alive. Look at the sky above, the solemn call of the clouds and the flashes of lightning have created a strange and mysterious atmosphere.

But behind this beauty,y there is another reality. Due to the rain, these raw earth roads have now become muddy. The road where people run around with dreams every day is now filled with water. The dust of the road has mixed with the rainwater and become one. If you look closely, you will see that plastic bottles and packets of chips left here and there are being washed away by the current of water. On the one hand, seeing this scene makes you feel bad; on the other hand, it also reminds us of our ignorance. Nature gives us such beautiful gifts, yet we repay it with garbage.

Look at the two white buckets kept in a corner of the house. There is a constant effort to retain the rainwater that has dripped from the tin roof. The small waves that are created when the raindrops fall into the water in the bucket are quite beautiful to see. The strange rhythm of the sound of rain on the tin roof is something that no expensive music system can possibly provide. This sound takes the mind very deep, reminds me of many old memories.

Look at another picture, the tall grasses in the middle of the bushes are soaked in rainwater. The flowers of this golden-colored wild grass seem to be embracing every drop of rain. This green and yellowish hue, wet with rainwate,r has softened the rough environment around them in an instant. When these grasses sway in the wind, it seems as if they are celebrating the arrival of rain.

In fact, life is probably like this rain. Sometimes it is a harsh reality like the hot sun, and sometimes it is a sudden burst of happiness like rain. This muddy path, unfinished building, and this rainwater—all of this is our life. We may often avoid these forms of nature due to work, but sometimes it is very necessary to stop and look around. This rain teaches us how to wash away all the dust and start anew.
