Seeing yourself in others

Assalamu Alaikum. How are you all my friends. I hope everyone is well and healthy. Today I want to share a very simple but deep feeling of my heart with you. And I think you will enjoy reading the writings.

There are many times in each of our lives when we look at the talents, skills and successes of the people around us and we feel very small. Some draw amazing pictures, some sing beautiful songs, some are good at writing, and some achieve big goals in life in a very short time. Seeing all of them, sometimes I feel like I only know how to breathe. Nothing else will happen by me. Maybe I don't have any special talent, no quality that will impress people.

This feeling may not be unique to me. Many of us compare the bright parts of others' lives with the dark sides of our own. But we often forget one thing - the story of each person's life is different. The person we see successful today may also have had countless failures, hardships and a long road of waiting behind him.

I have gradually learned to understand that it is not right to judge one's worth by the success of others. Because talent is not limited to singing, painting or any great achievement. A person's patience, honesty, love, and the mentality of helping others—these are also extraordinary qualities. Maybe I have not yet found my true strength, but that does not mean that I do not have any potential.

Life is not a competitive field where everyone has to win at the same time. Some advance earlier, some later. Some find their talent very quickly, while others discover their path after a long time. So these days I try to focus more on my own improvement than comparing myself to others.

Maybe I am not perfect yet, maybe I still have a lot to learn. But I believe that there is a different light hidden inside every person. To find that light, all that is needed is patience, effort, and faith in myself.

So today I tell myself one thing—not only breathing, I am also slowly writing my own story. Maybe my pace is slow, but my journey will also reach a beautiful destination one day, InshaAllah.
