The sound of breaking glass
Assalamu Alaikum. I hope everyone is well and healthy. By the grace of Allah, I am also well. Today I would like to share a feeling that many of us may have experienced at some point in our lives.
Just as glass cannot be put back together as perfectly as before when it is broken, the situation of some relationships is the same. From the outside, the relationship may seem to be fine again, but somewhere inside, a broken scar remains. That scar cannot be seen with the eyes, but it can be felt.

As we walk the path of life, we get to know many people. Some come for a very short time, while others remain a part of our lives for a long time. We trust some people so much that we freely share our happiness and sorrow, dreams and weaknesses with them. But when that trust is hurt, not only a relationship, but a part of us also breaks.
Not all breaks come from quarrels or anger. Sometimes, neglect, misunderstanding or silent distance also gradually weakens a relationship. There comes a moment when I realize that the previous sincerity is no longer there. There is conversation, but there is no feeling. There is communication, but there is no tension like before.
I think that one should definitely try to mend broken relationships. Because all relationships are valuable. But in some cases, no matter how much effort is made, the previous trust does not return. Then the relationship remains just a name, but its inner warmth is lost.

However, the biggest lesson in life is that one should not wait to get everything lost back. Some people come into our lives to teach, not to stay. The experience, suffering, and education we get from them make us more mature.
Even today, when I remember a broken relationship, I feel bad. But now I have learned that the end of all relationships does not mean failure. Sometimes moving away is the most peaceful solution. Because once some relationships are broken, like glass, their scars remain for a lifetime, and that scar becomes a silent chapter in the story of our lives.
