Babu grocery store, Bokshi Bazar - Bogura

Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by Allah's endless mercy, I am also very well. For every family and every individual, a store is an important place, that is, a grocery store. All these grocery stores are extremely important for families and for daily consumption of food. The grocery store that I am going to review for you is called Babu Store. It is located in Bakshi Bazar in the Bogura district of the northern region of Bangladesh.

The owner of the shop is named Babu, and he has opened this grocery store under the name Babu Store. This shop is located in Bakshibazar’s main vegetable market, which is the central market area. From talking with the shopkeeper, I understood that he set up this shop here about 10 to 12 years ago. He runs the shop with just two employees. Among these two employees, one is his child and the other is a neighbor’s nephew. The shop is located in a place where people pass by and buy vegetables as part of their monthly shopping. Because of this, shopping happens very well in this store, and it does good business.

In this shop, everything we need on a daily basis is available. Not only daily necessities, but other items are also sold here. We generally know that a grocery store means you can get everything. First, I will show you some packaged foods available in this store, which they sell at very reasonable prices, retailing them to customers. All these foods and packages are imported from various factories and different private stores.

Here, many other kinds of items are available, among which the most important ones are rice, pulses, and various types of flour-based foods. Different kinds of rice, imported from various regions of Bangladesh, and different types of pulses are available. There is also sugar, salt, oil, chili, green chili, powdered chili, and turmeric powder. All these items are available here, either packaged or sold in bulk. They are brought in sacks and sold at a higher price, meaning at wholesale rates.
