Lifestyle Diary Game [11/09/2024]Having a nice time at work today

Warm greetings my beloved steemians across the globe, happy weekend to everyone of us here, I'm glad to be here to participate in this diary contest organized by our dear admin @hive-183369, I say a big thanks to you🙏🏼.

I was surprised as I woke up at my usual time which is 5:30am, proceeded with my morning prayer, after then I started doing a little laundry because I knew I won't be able to do it when i returned from work, while i was busy washing i was still focused on my time because I know that a minute past my working time, my salary will be deducted.

So I tried all my best inorder not to run late, because I didn't want to have any bad records of late coming in this my first month of starting my new job.

I thank God I was able to do all the house chores and finished in time, then I went and took my bath after which I prepared breakfast and took.

After I was done eating I just carried my working bag off I went to work. Getting to the shop I was surprised to to see no body so I decided to check what the time said on my wristswatch, behold it was still early as it was 7:35am.

I was now beginning to wonder if my wristswatch is actually working well or it has spoiled because in my mind I was thinking it was pass 8am.

So I waited for my other colleagues to start coming, in not less than 10minutes they all arrived and we went inside the shop for clean up and arrangement.

After we were done with the cleaning and arranging of goods item on their shelves we rested for about 30minutes before the team lead started showing us around the whole sections and explaining all the necessary items and the brand to us for knowing sake.

We walked around the whole sections of the shop and the most difficult section was the clothing section, that's because it has so many brands especially the female's wear, that section of the shop is voluminous in terms of cramming all the brand name and their prices as well.

At a point we were all tired to walk around even our team lead that was acting very strong and active was even the one that suggested we should sit down since she was tired.

We had spend about 2hours walking around the whole sections and when we were done we went back to our stand , suddenly some customers started coming in to buys items for there kids.

When it was time for lunch the supervisor reminded us and we went out in order to eat our lunch, I was the second person that went out to eat, before then I went to one of the nearby shop to buy soft drink to use in eating my rice that I brought from home.

I spend about 15minutes in eating, then I went inside the shop while another went out to eat theirs.few minutes later some customers came in to buy items, the two customers that came in came with their kids.

Now, we have a advantages and disadvantages of bringing your kids to the shop to buy things for them, the good side of it is that you will be able to buy your kids exact size of cloth or shoe for them and also their own choice because in my our we have a no return policy of goods so as a parent you have to be sure what tiure buying for your kids are their exact size if not we wont return the goods if it doesn't size your kid after carrying it home, so in this situation we always advice the customer to always bring their kids along for sizing especially on shoes.

And that is where the disadvantages come in because anything a kid enter our shop they will want to scatter all the shoes, toys and the rest pf the goods, is not as if we don't allowed them to be children by running the while sections, sometime the olay and destroy some toys and even the expensive shoe pitting their mother or guardians in trouble or even us the sales Rep.

One of the customers kid was misbehaving, just running up and down the shop, touching one item and the other, the mother kept shouting at her but the little girl was so adamant to instructions.

We tried to keep her in one place by giving her a balloon 🎈, it was as if we even gave her a free ticket to play and scatter more things 🤣. The mother delayed much in the shop because she was making a video call with the husband, showing him the stuffs she is buying.

When the finally to gone, it was almost our closing time, so I start making the account on the system and also manually by writing them down on a recording book, while others were packing in the displayed items outside inside the shop.

When we close by locking up the store, we all went to our different houses.

As I got home I was so tired and exhausted, so I freshened up quickly before looking for what to eat, after then I retired to bed.
