I am getting old on steemit and with my consistent stay on this platform I hear users complain of not getting vote.

For the benefit of the new ones among us , vote on Steemit is the support we get when another user curates on our post; this vote is more visible when the curator has more Steem power, as such everyone on steemit can vote but not all vote is meaningful.
Vote is meaningful when someone with higher Steem power curates on your post like the whales, 01 , 02 and other big curators on the Steem block chains.

Vote on steemit is not guaranteed, but we all look forward to receiving a good vote on our post, in other words, there is need to follow these five steps.

• Be outstanding and creative; Millions of people are blogging on steemit, in order for you to stay out among the crowd, you need to be creative.
  How can you be creative? Before joining steemit and during your introduction post there is one thing you promised to be writing. If you can be serious and creative about your niche my dear the sky will be your limit on steemit.

• Consistency. Write, writing quality posts every day will bring you to limelight on steemit, you cannot receive votes when you are inactive. You must make sure you drop at least one post a day. In a week, if you make seven posts, there is no way three or even more will not be voted. That is the power of consistency on steemit.

• Engagement. Do you know that curators on Steemit support meaningful comments? Yeah, you do not just write and run away; you have to engage with other users; if you can engage like ten times a day in different posts, curators will be looking for your engagement.
