The diarygame 2/2/2026; Sharing my story from the sick bed.
If they are counting active Steemians from Nigeria, I'm certain that my name will be among the list, but lately my blog started being empty not because I don't feel like writing or too much workload on me but due to my ill health. I have been sick for some time now; looking at my screen was not something that gave me joy. All I wanted was just rest.
Oftentimes I struggle to work on my curation days; after curation I will abandon the rest of the work for my team members, who were of great help to me at that time, even without explaining anything to them.
Early hours of Monday, I decided to go for a test and probably meet with my doctor. I went straight to the hospital, met the doctor on duty, and explained everything to him, and he directed me to run some tests from the lab.
The lab technicians took my blood samples and told me to come back the next day, and I felt hungry afterwards. I checked my pocket, and I had money. I booked food at Kilimanjaro, which is very close to the lab house.
I ordered fried rice and chicken with cold mineral water, or coke, to be precise. All the food amounts to 3700 in Nigerian money, while in Steem it's approximately 47 Steem using today's market price.
After eating, I went back to the doctor, and he gave me some malaria drugs since I'm having symptoms. Today I'm getting better; the drugs are working, and I can do my things as before. I want to thank all my friends that checked on me during this time. I'm back and fine now.

I wish you total healing
