Better Life With Steem || The Diary Game || Today my elder brother and I went to the market to buy jaggery [13th March 2026]

I woke up early. I woke up and sat down to read a book. I read a book for an hour. After my father left home, I left home. Today I went to the market with my elder brother in the morning. We went to the jaggery market. My mother will make pitha at home today. So she sent me to the market to buy jaggery and coconut. Today, my mother will make pitha for the guests who will come to our house. The main ingredient for making pitha is jaggery. Apart from this, coconut is also used in some pitha.

We reached the market at 10 am. The shops in the market were not yet open so we waited for a while. After the shops opened at 11 am, we bought molasses from the shop. There were different types of molasses in the shop. There was date molasses. There was also sugarcane molasses. My mother asked me to buy half a kilo of sugarcane molasses and one kilo of date molasses.

^Coconut

After buying jaggery, we went to the coconut shop. We saw many big coconuts in the coconut shop. The coconuts were asking a very high price. Each coconut was going from 120 to 140 taka. I bought a medium-sized coconut for 100 taka. Then my elder brother and I went home together. When I came home, I handed over the jaggery and coconut to my mother. Then I took my bicycle and went out. I cycled outside for some time. I came home after 1 pm.

I came home at noon and freshened up and had lunch. Then I sat down to watch TV. I watched TV for two hours. Then I went out again with my bicycle. When I came out, I saw that my friends were walking around. So I left the bicycle at home. And I went out with my friends.

In the evening, I came home. My mother was waiting for me at home. She asked me to eat pitha. I ate a few pitha. After eating pitha, I went out. One of my friends was waiting for me outside. He was going to the market with his mother. He also asked me to go with them. Since I had no work. So I went to the market with them.

Auntie entered a cloth shop. I saw many types of three-piece clothes there. Aunty was buying clothes. Then I took pictures of the clothes in the shop. It takes a long time for women to go buy clothes. We left at 7 pm. But it was 10 pm when we returned home. Aunty took us to 8-10 shops and bought 2 clothes. Then she took me to the shop and served me tea. Then we got into an autorickshaw and came home.
