The Diary Game: A Stressful Day At Work With Rain And Headache(18/05/2026)

Greetings to you, I'm Emmanuel and my username is @smithbillz. Earlier this morning, I was called to rush to the shop and attend to someone. My boss had sent her friend to come and get some cash from the shop and she told me the specific amount to give and I did that before going back home to get prepared for work. As I got home, my friends had done almost all the chores for the morning including preparing breakfast. I took my bath and scooped my own food and went to the shop.

I got to the shop and today, I wasn't the one sweeping the bar so I stood at a corner waiting for the boys to be done with sweeping so I could go in and bring out the music box. While making arrangements in the shop, our drinks man came and I collected two packs Guinness and bullet drink and took them to the fridge to store. When I finished, I ate my breakfast and took paracetamol because I had headache.

In the middle of the morning, rain started giving signs that it was going to fall but we didn't think of folding up the chairs outside or taking the tables inside because we assumed it will not fall not until, it began to fall bit by bit and that's when I stood up and folded the chairs and tables that were outside and kept them at a corner. Rain didn't allow business to flow well today, it rained till mid afternoon when it stop.

I will not lie, I had a good sleep when it was raining and deep down, I wished it was going to rain through out the day so that I could have enough rest for my headache to stop, I knew it was too much stress that contributed to it. I was out of cash for POS business towards evening and I called my boss to inform her so she told me that someone will bring me cash soon. In the evening, action bitters sales representative came for sales and I bought few bottles as we had need for them.

After work, I went home and laid on my bed. I couldn't do anything as my body was hot, I tried taking a bath to see if I will feel better but I didn't so I just went to bed after having dinner. I woke up some hours later and decided not to mess with this opportunity I have here so I picked up my phone and began to write about my day. I'm happy to be here and I'm looking forward to a great experience here, thank you steemit.
