In my opinion, food is not only to satisfy hunger, but also a magical means to improve the human mind. Many of us rush to a favorite food zone to take a breath of relief and change the taste of the tongue in the midst of daily busy life, workplace fatigue and civic noise. However, My daughter was telling me, "Baba, shall we go out somewhere today? Let's eat something different!" —With this sweet request from her daughter and the approval of her wife, the plan was made last evening. There is nothing better than a quick outing with the family to shake off the familiar routine of daily working life and the fatigue of Dhaka city. And when it comes to food, what is more tempting than the street food on the roadsides of Mirpur.

I had been thinking of going out for shopping for a long time, and we do not miss street food when we go shopping. InshAllah, I will taste the famous hot chicken momos from the alley behind ShahAli Plaza, Mirpur No. 10. So, without further delay, I went out with everyone. Today, I will share with you the story of our bustling momo festival and the detailed review of this food zone.

The main attraction of my review today is a popular street food stall, where very delicious and mouth-watering chicken momos are made.

Address: The shop is located right in the heart of Mirpur. This momo stall is a regular in the alley just behind the Shah Ali Plaza at Mirpur No. 10.

Brief Description: This is not a luxury restaurant, but an open-air street food cart. Fresh momos are made here continuously in large aluminum pots that smoke. In my opinion, this alley behind Shah Ali Plaza is filled with the aroma of various foods in the evening, of which this momo stall is one of the most popular.

1. Dining Facilities: Since it is a street food cart, there is no royal table and chair arrangement to sit and eat comfortably inside. Customers mainly enjoy hot momos standing in front of the shop or standing on the side of the street. That is why we also ate there.

2. Cleanliness: Even though it was on the side of the street, the shopkeeper's younger brother was serving the food very cleanly. The pots of Momo Dhaka were clean, and we felt quite comfortable eating with our family, Alhamdulillah!.

1. Delicious Food & Prices: We all ordered the steaming hot chicken momos. Each plate of momos costs only BDT 100 (Steem price is 15.36). It is really great to get such delicious and fresh momos at such a price in a busy area like Mirpur. Each plate had 6 pieces of momos and two types of chutneys, which were quite satisfying for us as an afternoon snack. We finished one plate and ordered another.

I saw that this alley behind ShahAli Plaza creates a wonderful, festive, and lively atmosphere in the afternoon. The whole area is quite bustling with people coming to shop around, the chatter of employees and students of all ages, and the aroma of various street foods. Since the shop is a little inside from the noise of the main road, there is less direct smoke or the sound of car horns. However, there is a lot of crowd of customers during the main evening, due to which the surroundings seem quite lively and busy to me. All in all, the environment is quite nice and safe for having a light snack with the family.

My Favorite Dish: Our entire family loved their special chicken momos, which were piping hot and served with a nice tangy, spicy chutney. The chicken filling inside the momos was so soft and juicy on the first bite, and the outer coating was just perfect. Both my daughter and wife praised the taste. My daughter took her time eating them because they were so hot. I would give it a 9.9 out of 10 in terms of taste.

Customer Service Opinion: I think there is some room for improvement in their customer service. I noticed that in the evenings, due to the extra rush of customers, we have to stand for a while to get our momos. If they had hired an extra assistant to take orders and deliver the food, the customer service would have been faster, and customers wouldn’t have had to stand for long.

This evening of eating piping hot momos on the streets of Mirpur with the whole family will be etched in our memories for a long time. It is such small pleasures at the end of a busy day that really make life beautiful.
