🏵️Lalbagh Fort🏵️

I have been interested in history, tradition and ancient architecture for a long time. So, when I got the opportunity, I went to visit the historic Lalbagh Fort in Old Dhaka. Our country has many beautiful tourist destinations. However, along with natural beauty, historical tourist destinations also have special importance. Because various chapters of our past, culture and history are associated with these places. Lalbagh Fort is one such historical monument, which has stood as a witness to the history of Bangladesh for hundreds of years.

What kind of tourists zone did you reviewed? Where is it located? Share a brief description of the tourists zone.

The tourist area that I am reviewing is Lalbagh Fort. It is located in the Lalbagh area of Old Dhaka, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is well known to tourists from home and abroad as one of the most important structures of the Mughal period.

According to historical information, in 1678, Prince Muhammad Azam, the son of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, started the construction of this fort. Later, the construction work continued even during the time of Nawab Shaista Khan. Although the work of the fort was not completely completed, it is still one of the most valuable historical assets of Bangladesh today.

Beautiful Gardens
Various Monuments of Ancient Architecture

After entering the fort, I felt as if I had entered a living chapter of history. The surrounding architecture, old walls and historical monuments continue to carry the memories of the Mughal era.

The quality of a tourist area depends on the kind of facilities it has for tourists. In this regard, Lalbagh Fort has satisfied me quite a bit.

Parking Facilities

There is a parking facility for parking vehicles around the Lalbagh Fort. I noticed that many visitors came with private cars and motorcycles and they were easily able to park their vehicles at the designated places.

Ticket System

You have to collect the designated ticket to enter the fort. The ticket counter is well organized and visitors do not have to wait for long. As a result, the entry process is quite easy and fast.

Security measures

Security personnel are deployed for the safety of tourists. The entire area is regularly monitored. This allows visitors to move around comfortably.

Lalbagh Fort is a great place for those who love to take pictures. You can take amazing pictures under the historical architecture, beautiful gardens, and the open sky.

In terms of environment, Lalbagh Fort is a very rich tourist area. Although it is located in a busy metropolis like Dhaka, the environment inside the fort is very calm and peaceful.

Green

There are beautifully maintained gardens inside the fort. Various types of plants and green grass have made the entire environment attractive. This green environment not only enhances the beauty, but also plays a role in maintaining the balance of the environment. Although there is some air pollution due to vehicles outside Old Dhaka, the environment inside the fort is relatively serene. There is relief here due to open spaces and plants. Due to the busy city life of Dhaka, some noise comes from the outside road. However, the impact of that noise is greatly reduced when you enter the fort.

Preservation of historical structures

Along with environmental protection, it is also very important to preserve historical structures. I have noticed that in many places, instructions have been given to warn visitors not to destroy the heritage structures by writing on the walls or damaging them.

In my opinion, visitors should be more aware of preserving the environment and heritage. Because these structures are important assets not only for us but also for future generations.

My personal travel experience

Traveling to Lalbagh Fort is one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. From the moment I entered the main gate of the fort, a different feeling was working in my mind. It felt like I had stepped into the history of several hundred years ago.

I slowly explored the entire fort. The architecture of Paribi's tomb impressed me the most. Besides, the architectural style of the mosque and the Durbar Hall was also amazing. I sat in the fort garden for some time and enjoyed the surroundings. The combination of green grass, beautiful flowers and historical structures made the whole environment more attractive.

Finally, I would like to say that Lalbagh Fort is a unique example of the history, tradition and culture of Bangladesh. It is not just a tourist center, but a living witness to our glorious past. Due to its beautiful environment, adequate facilities and historical importance, it is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the country. For those who love history or want to see the heritage of old Dhaka up close, Lalbagh Fort is definitely a place to visit. My travel experience was very pleasant and I wish to come here again in the future.
