DIARY GAME — | SCHOOL WORK AND PURCHASING A LAPTOP BATTERY | 27|03|2026

Time is money, but the more time you spend , the more money you spend.
My day was already planned since 4 days ago. But the unexpected happened.

I had this assignment I wanted to submit, this would be the second time in school this week after my last exam which I wrote on Monday.
To submit this assignment, I have to go with my Departmental dues receipt. I didn't pay .The assignment, 22 pages typed and printed, that should cost a lot of money ,you know that.

Before leaving the house I was told to check for a laptop battery and buy before I return home.
With the increments of fuel price and skyrocketing cost of transportation, I had to hope the money on me was enough to get all these done and return home safely.

My friend @sampson01 called and asked me to stop by his house , so we can leave together.

While I was waiting for this nigga to get dressed. I took some pictures of what I did there.
They offered me orange to suck, abi..? I plugged it myself.😅
I forgot that orange aids in digestion , so in no time it was going to make me hungry 🥲

We left there about 1 pm to my friend's siblings shop where we printed our assignments, so we would go to school to suit it.
I actually didn't spend that much time there. I also branched @blissful001 's workshop because it was not far from there.

When we got to school, story changed. We were told not to only show our faculty/departmental dues receipt,but to print out our proof of payment, take it to the department office of the president, then get the original departmental dues receipt where we can then photocopy and attach the photocopy to our assignments and submit.

We did all that and finally submitted the assignment.
Since the day was likely going to be my last day in school this year, seeing my friends and course mates, I didn't want to be in a haste to go.
While still waiting, I spotted a nicely looking meat pie at the canteen from where I was standing. I was already feeling hungry. Remember the orange I ate at my friend's place....🥲😅yeah.

So I bought the meat-pie (2) , for my friend and I.
While still at the canteen , one of our course mates told me our football team were hosting another department.
I went to watch with my friend. After first half, I left the place.
Match ended 1:1 (half-time).

This was about 5 pm. I needed to get down to where I could buy the laptop battery a quick as possible.
I got to the store, explained it to them and they brought out the battery. It was what I was looking for.
I wanted to be sure it was the battery in my laptop that was faculty, so I would know why to do. But they insisted that I pay before fitting it into the laptop. I payed anyways. I fitted it onto the laptop, charged it for sometime. And it was working perfectly fine...

It was already dark when I left the place. I boarded a taxi back home.
Family member were already calling but my phone was on DND.
I got home , showed them the laptop and explained everything to them.
The management of the computer store advised that we charge the battery to its fullest before using it. I already know that. Also, that we only two day warranty on the battery. If there are no complains after two day. Then warranty is over.
Who even gives a two day warranty.😂😂.

Anyways .....that's how my day was.
