I hope you all are doing well. Today, I am excited to share my special and flavorful dish called Fry Green Chillies, which is known for its simple preparation, aromatic spices, and delicious traditional taste, making it a perfect side dish for family meals and special gatherings.

Ingredients

Required ingredients for making recipe

Ingredient Quantity
Green Chilies 300 grams
Mustard Seeds (Rai) ½ cup
Whole Coriander Seeds ½ cup
Fennel Seeds (Saunf) ½ cup
Crushed Red Chili Flakes ½ cup
White Cumin Seeds ½ cup
Nigella Seeds (Kalonji) ½ cup
Ginger–Garlic Paste ½ cup
Salt 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder ½ cup
Red Chili Powder ½ cup
Yogurt ½ cup

Cooking Procedure step by step

Fried chillies are a simple yet delicious snack or side dish that adds a spicy kick to any meal. Here’s a detailed guide to making them perfectly crispy and flavorful.

Step 1: Prepare the Spices

Grind white cumin (jeera), fennel seeds (saunf), and whole coriander seeds into a fine powder. Add crushed red chili to the mix.

Step 2: Heat Oil & Add Aromatics

Take a pan, add 2 tablespoons cooking oil, then add mustard seeds (rai), carom seeds (ajwain), and garlic-ginger paste.

Step 3: Add Ground Spices

Add the ground spice mix, chili fry powder, salt, turmeric, and ground red chili.

Step 4: Fry Chillies & Add Yogurt


Fry the chillies in the masala, cover while frying. Once done, add yogurt on top. Your recipe is ready!
