In my town, there is both a day and a boarding school in the town, and the available boarding school that I visited is meant for girls.

I visited "Our Lady of Apostles (Ola) Girls' College, Akwanga". This school is a premier all-girls boarding school that is located in Akwanga.

The founder of the school is a missionary who is now is currently owned by the Catholic diocese of Lafia, which is dedicated to the community as an institution for providing high-quality moral and academic education in the host community and state at large.

What are the facilities like there? For example, Classroom Facilities, Electricity, Security, Playground etc. (With Picture +Videos +Description)

The school has a lot of facilities which I was unable to cover because I stopped at the gate and asked to come back during visitors' day, which is usually on Saturday. However, the school has the following facilities.

• Security: The school premises are highly fortified with high fencing and razor wire which prevents thieves from entering the school.

• Hostels: The school hostels are well-ventilated with nice-looking accommodation for students.

• Utilities: There is tap water running 24/7 in the school and with additional borehole in the school.

• Classrooms: There are spacious laboratories and classrooms in the school which make learning interesting.

• Pastoral care: Since it is a Catholic school, there is a chapel in the school that is for spiritual enrichment.

Discuss in detail the environmental situation of the Education Zone.

The education zone is a good environment for learning but the problem most of the time is traffic noise because it is closer to the main road, where the noise of vehicles and motorcycles often distracts students from learning.

Also, the school environment needs some touch-up to reduce the stones in the school which makes it difficult for students to walk freely in the school. Some classrooms have no means of locking which means that anyone can easily enter a classroom and pick whatever that he or she wants.

Based on your exploration experience, please suggest what steps can be taken to further improve their opportunities.

It was a bit difficult for me to use my phone for capturing because I didn't follow the school rules and regulations when entering the school which the gateman almost sent me away.

However, I think the steps that can be taken further to improve the opportunity are communicating with the gatekeeper whenever I have something to do in the school. Notifying the school on time is the best way to go.
