I like the idea you have shared for creating two new communities focusing on geography and history but I believe that at the same time we also need to figure out if there are people who are going to contribute through the content and content consumers as well. Having more community is good provided there are people who create content and also at the same time there should be people who consume it else this is not going to be a value addition on the ecosystem.
