There are plenty of painful and annoying-to-handle Mammillarias though
True! Better to put them into a suitable pot once and never touch them again
The ongoing annoyance is weeding... sometimes I just get pliers
Weeding in winter when the soil is really dry and loose is a good trick
Well, if the weeds stay a manageable size...
The worst are all the little volunteer seedlings that pop up in some pots, then I feel bad for pulling them out, but have no qualms about weeds XD
