Lower Yakutino
Lower Yakutino is a former village, and now an abandoned summer cottage settlement on the territory of the Tregubovsky rural settlement of the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region of Russia.
To get here, you need to wade or cross the river Shardenga in a boat near the village of Skorodum. And if simpler, then walk along Shardenga from the Nikolsk-Kotlas highway from the bridge over the river.
Having visited the village of Skorodum last year, I noticed cottages on the other side. On a regular satellite map, nothing is already listed here, but on more specialized maps there is the name Lower Yakutino. A little higher is the residential village of Upper Yakutino. Everything is logical.
In Lower Yakutino there are nothing interesting: looking at country houses is not particularly exciting.
I assumed that at least there would be any remains from the old village, but absolutely nothing said that there were ancient wooden buildings.
But suddenly in the dense thicket yet managed to make out one old house. This is good luck!
The placing of logs in this house is a bit different. I don’t remember the name of this setting, but this is a more durable option. There are truths and minuses to this method of placing: the house is much more difficult to disassemble, transport to another place, and then evenly assemble. But at that time no one thought about it.
I do not have a question, why did the houses and summer cottages were leave by people here. I’m more interested with what the hell did they come from here?
I traveled all over the district, the whole Shardenga bush and did not meet country houses anywhere.
This place is just made for fierce introverts!
There are no good roads here. Yeah, there are no any roads at all! I understand that there was everything before, but there wasn’t even a trace of it all.
Arched tire from agricultural machinery.
Do you think it’s just lying here? Fuff, it’s a well!
The only one of all the houses is very well preserved. Yes, I'm joking again! What will happen to it if it was built recently? Well ok, thirty years ago...but not a hundred and thirty!
I wish I could get a house like this.
Inside are scattered a lot of magazines "Peer." I even looked through a couple...I remembered my youth...
Here everything beckons itself to read!
And what a mansard! Nice house, but not my own. But in such a place as here, it doesn’t need anyone.
It’s time to go...even to run back, otherwise the rainfall is coming.
One more checkmark is put in the list of visited abandoned places of Veliky Ustyug district. This is not the place where I would like to return. Moreover, if I knew what was here, I would not have gone at all.
Hi @evildeathcore, it's great that place, some story must have... Thanks for sharing. Happy day.
