This picture say's it all! Van life and working from out the van. For me it's like no wright now! But I do think that I know why all those "vanlifers" people are working from a coffee shop or restaurant or something like that!

Maybe in the future, if i have a bigger van, it will work better! Until that day I feel very privileged that i have a van like this now! 🙏

Day 3, Harry Potter bridge!

We started out at a parking lot next to a lake were you could stay at night, there was a wooden cabin with a public toilet in there and the location didn't cost anything. We arrived in the dark and when we woke up it was cold, the windows were frozen up! but outside it was looking good, a little foggy and the sun was coming out!  So i got my drone out for a little fly!

This was the last time we would see the sun out! We went on route to another famous location,  the Ravenna Gorge! There is a nice hiking trail trough out the gorge and at the beginning there is a railroad crossing the gorge and looks like it comes straight out of a Harry Potter movie!

It was a very grey and rainy day! The light was not good to take that many nice pictures but i experimented with some panorama shots again. This is a picture made out of 7 vertical shots made with my canon 70-200 mm F2,8 lens

Around Christmas time there is a big Christmas marked underneath the bridge. Than the bridge and the surroundings are full of lights and there is music, food and hot wine everywhere! And if there is snow it's even more of a fairy tale! To bad it's not at the moment we are there, they were building the market already!

Behind this bridge the hike starts and takes you all the way around the mountain and villages. Its a hike of about 16 kilometres so that's a little bit to much for now. Al the camera gear is not very light! We just focused on the beginning of the trail and are looking for nice waterfalls and autumn colors.

The weather in the gorge was a little better because the trees protected us as a natural umbrella! But it was hard to keep the gear dry! On route we spoke to a couple of Belgium woman and they told us that they were hiking for the past tree hours, they went around the track the opposite way as we were doing We told them that we were on the way for about two hours! They were shocked that it was still so far away, but we were really just shooting and therefore had made no progress at all! Totally we made it trip for about 5 kilometres total!  But we did made many many pictures!
