hello and welcome to aroma just got to rome yesterday so the first morning here

I heard that if you came before 9:00 it's not very crowded but you see it's already crowded so maybe 7 am. is better you guys want to see what we get up to here in Rome we only have a three two and a half days what did you say is it just that Nate doesn't understand wedding we walked from in a subway station to our hotel probably but I don't have to actually always sleep by the window it's like a weird thing that I have this is our room in Roma is the Rome style hotel

it's nice and cozy very chic is he worse got a big TV got a little street video going on here they said the minibar is free on the first use what's in here anything good oh no I was hoping for a Peroni we pick this we're talking like really central there's like a bunch of big Rome things close by so you can watch it in easily here is the teeny tiny bathroom but it's very nice the shower is like the most normal shower we've seen since being in Italy still haven't figured out how to use the days yet so there's that this honestly like are we in a nightclub I'm confused after getting our hotel really settled we freshened up from our train ride from the Amalfi Coast for half a day of sightseeing but first thing was first lunch of course we want to penny salami because we heard amazing things about it

if you're looking for a delicious lunch this is a spot you have to era charcuterie boards are to die for and the sandwiches are so good we came here several times during our stay the space is pretty small so you may have a short wait but it is well worth it oh crap the line was not this long last time I came where's the end of the line Pantheon is one of my favorite sites and Rome is originally a Roman temple that is now a Catholic Church and it is one of the best preserved of all the ancient Roman buildings

it's nearly two thousand years old and get this the dome is still the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome which is wild do you think maybe they didn't finish building man all these years the reason for that hole better known as the populace is to allow light to come into the pantheon of course it also lets in rain the floors are made at a gentle slope to allow rainwater and the elements to flow to the outside of the room and out of the building through holes in the ground what did you think about the Pantheon very cool yeah like yeah never the hole is here for dinner that night we styled into a la Chateau a very charming little Italian restaurant that serves authentic Italian food the staff was super warm and friendly and the atmosphere was well eclectic

we will call it the content we ordered up a leader of the house red and ordered the wild-boar ragout which apparently they are known for and it was such a good meal Cheers so what'd you think of dinner Beauty simile just drinking we like it like ticket line we want to go next after this terrible sue alright for dessert we grabbed tiramisu from Pompey

if you're in Rome you've gotta try Pompey the chair Massoud is so good I highly recommend the pistachio flavor the next morning we headed out to the Colosseum for our ticketed time to skip the line at the Colosseum but we ran a little late into the Vatican no sorry that's later we almost had to make it because we relate power of positive thinking good vibes and they got us in but lesson learning if you buy skip the line tickets on head out read your ticket and don't be late but definitely buy skip the light tickets because you don't want to wait look at the line to get in all the way out I have said it many times but do get skip the line tickets wherever and whenever

you can these were around $30 so it's totally worth the time you save waiting in that monster of a line absolute get your guide head out and Viator are great places to purchase these tickets in advance a lot of people here yeah how things falling around this is old these are your fix this place the Coliseum has got to be one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world

So it's definitely a must visit when in Rome we bought a ticket that lets us skip the line here and also the nearby Palatine Hill which we will get to in a second and I think it's a great way to explore this area of Rome because it's both cost and time effective looks like these people are cleaning very and they're using very fine maybe the putting mortar in there I don't know but they're doing something tricky well we're here it's really old apart and that is where lions just rich people burn it right down there I don't think I need to tell you what went on here we all know don't we the cave saw we conquered here but there's just a million people here Hovis it's kind of irritating you have something you the see here
