EDITORIALE

E così, dopo un viaggio durato oltre due mesi, che mi ha entusiasmato ogni settimana un po' di più di quella precedente, in questo numero annunceremo i nomi degli otto finalisti, che si contenderanno, quattro nel percorso principale e altrettanti in quello secondario, i ricchi premi in palio, sponsorizzati dal Witness @italygame.

Complimenti ai "magnifici 8", che hanno centrato questo traguardo superando una folta concorrenza, ma anche a tutti coloro che della "famiglia" hanno fatto parte, soprattutto quelli che, con grande spirito sportivo, stanno continuando a partecipare al gioco sebbene esclusi dalla possibilità di vittoria finale, dando così grande lustro e significato anche alla competizione settimanale e ai giochi di contorno, come le nostre piccole "Olimpiadi" tra nazioni.

La partecipazione generale è andata sopra le mie aspettative e, se avrò il piacere di organizzare in futuro una nuova edizione del torneo, ne terrò conto, magari allargando la platea dei qualificati ai premi finali e aggiungendo una terza "coppa".

La sorpresa più grossa della settimana è stata la sconfitta del Milan sul campo dello Spezia. Nessun partecipante ha realizzato punti con questa partita, ma nemmeno con la sfida forse più facilmente prevedibile, quella tra PSG e Ajaccio, il cui +5 finale per i parigini si è rivelato un osso troppo duro da mordere.
Ad Inter-Sassuolo va la palma di partita più generosa della giornata con 34 punti distribuiti e 9 pronostici esatti.

Perché viene premiata la velocità?
Quando si tratta di pronostici sportivi, le possibilità di indovinare i risultati delle partite aumentano con l'avvicinarsi del fischio d'inizio. The prizes up for grabs for the competition winners at the end of the ten-week competition period will be as follows:

The final episode of the contest will be published tomorrow, Tuesday 16 May 2023, at approximately 5.00 p.m. Italian time - 3.00 p.m. if UTC time is taken into account. The time was chosen because it was judged, compatibly with personal commitments, to be the most suitable for participation from different parts of the world.

For the final, the scheduled matches will for the first time cover three different leagues: the thirty-sixth day of the Italian football league, Serie A, the thirty-seventh day of the English Premier League, and the thirty-fifth day of the Spanish league, La Liga. Start studying!
