RE: PHOTOCHAIN Challenge TESTNET - Edition number 139 [ENG | ITA]
Hi @davidesimoncini. Here's my entry for this week.
This tree is known in the Philippines as “talisay”, the Tropical Almond Tree (Terminalia catappa), a large, deciduous, and spreading tree, reaching around 20 to 25 meters height. There are orchids hanging from the tree and they are called Dendrobium Parishii. It is a beautiful, tropical orchid from the family Orchidaceae. These plants are sometimes known as “hand orchids” because of the way their canes grow out, resembling fingers. These plants are colorful when they bloom and grow in the form of canes and vines.
My Personal Keyword is Orchids.
TREE / LEAF / ORCHIDS
Good luck everyone. Awaiting your entries @wakeupkitty.pal @gertu @suryati1 @soulfuldreamer @solperez. Hope you can make it 😊

Your keyword is perfect , here in Colombia, orchids have been a symbol, and there are many varieties.
Very good photograph; I wish you luck in the contest.

Thank you. Now you have made me very curious to see your orchids. I look forward to seeing them 😊
Ini merupakan sesuatu yang sangat indah dan langka, semoga anda beruntung dan terimakasih sudah mengundang saya untuk bergabung 🥰
Thank you for the kind words of appreciation. I am looking forward to your participation this week 🫠
Sama-sama 👍
Hermosa fotografía. Te deseo mucha suerte.
Muchas Gracias ☺️
Thanks for inviting me. Even among those beautiful orchids that you show hanging, there is another epiphytic plant called deer chub. (Platycerium bifurcatum)
I love your tree, it is so vital.
Hi @gertu. You really are a plant enthusiast. The deer chub that you mentioned is called Staghorn Fern here in our country. I actually was deliberating on two photos which to enter. It was a hard decision but I chose the photo above. You might be interested to know what the other photo is which I did not choose. It is shown below.
It is the same tree but this view is at the back of the photo I entered. The deer chub on this side is much bigger than the other one which you saw 😊
This fern is so beautiful.
You know that in my country it is also called that.
I have a very small staghorn fern in a basket, but I love how they spread their leaves so wide and green.
Thanks for this image too.

I actually have 4 staghorn ferns in our garden. And were it not for the tree with the orchids I would have entered another photo showing our staghorn fern. Anyway, here is a photo showing 2 of them.

Yes, they are quite inposing, especially when they are fully grown.
Wow, they are beautiful. Mine are small. I'll be posting about them any minute now.
Thanks for showing me these beauties. They are delicious delicacies for my eyes and my soul expands with love for such majesty in the Father's creation.
Wow, 20-25 meters. It's so big! Thanks for the peculiarities about it, and also for joining Photochain again. Welcome to the current edition and a big good luck! :)
