RE: PHOTOCHAIN Challenge TESTNET - Edition number 140 [ENG | ITA]
Hi @davidesimoncini. Here's my entry for this week.
There is a public park in our city called the Davao City People's Park. This 4-hectare cultural theme park features, among others, numerous cement statues depicting the cultural history of the city, its practices and livelihood. Davao City is found in the island of Mindanao, Philippines and is called the "fruit basket" of the country. Davao, in particular, is known for the fruit called Durian. It is also here where bananas and mangos are grown commercially for export to foreign countries. Throw in pomelos, marang (tarap or terap), jackfruit, papaya and lanzones (langsat) and many more. The photo below shows cement statues of some of Davao's indigenous tribesmen called lumads, after a bountiful harvest of different fruits. It also shows 2 of these lumads feasting on a durian fruit. These are by no means small statues, with each measuring about 8 feet tall. They were created by the well-known artist, Kublai Millan.
My Personal Keyword is Basket.
FRUIT / STATUE / BASKET
Good luck everyone. @solperez @wakeupkitty.pal @suryati1 @soulfuldreamer @dim753 Hope to see your entries this week 😊

Todo es perfecto en esta participación. Te ajustas al tema, y además nos permites acercarnos a las costumbres de Filipinas. Realmente, apuesto a que estarás en el pódium. Un abrazo.

Such a wonderful reply. Thank you so much for the kind words of appreciation. But I wish you could also enter this week. I hope you find the time and the photo to enter. I await 😊
También lo deseo. Pero en mi pueblo estamos sufriendo racionamientos eléctricos de casi 8 horas por día, y le estoy dando prioridad al trabajo de curación. Sin embargo, buscaré la manera de participar. Un abrazo.

I am sorry to hear about your electricity rationing. 9 hours daily without electricity is really bad. Especially at nights when people have to sleep. It is a wonder that you can still find time to post and curate. Hope the situation gets better for you over there. A hug from the Philippines 😪
It seems the Lumads were strong workers. Congratulations to you for the entry, and to Kublai Millan for such beautiful artwork. Thanks and welcome to the new edition. As usual, a big good luck! :)

Muchas gracias @solperez and @steemcurator07. This is indeed a very pleasant surprise. ☺️👍❤️
That is very interesting. I doubt I have a statue with fruit or ever saw one. Such a rich country with a variety of fruit.
Just eat an apple beside a statue. That'll be good to go 😊
The question that begs answering is why this country is still considered third world and not among first world countries, some of which even have less resources than ours. 🤔
That's a good question. Don't worry Trump is breaking down the western world meaning soon they will be the third world.
P.s. I just bought two apples LOL
Excellent entry
Thank you. I await yours ☺️

I took a picture but decided not to participate; I don't think it shows what the contest requires. I'll wait until next week.
