Ciao amici di questa splendida comunità

oggi volevo condividere con voi, il mio ultimo post inerente alle giornate Fai di primavera che si sono svolte ancora una settimana fa, questa ultima parte che si svolge sempre nella città di Vicenza, voglio condividere con voi alcune foto che ho scattato negli appartamenti che si trovano nel sottotetto di Palazzo Chiricati, sede di uno dei più importanti musei della città di Vicenza.

Questa parte del museo è visitabile solo in alcune occasioni, si possono trovare una collezione di grande interesse artistico culturale diverse opere d'arte di vari autori tra cui Tiepolo Picasso, E in queste tre stanze possiamo anche vedere le varie collezioni del marchese, e i vari ricordi che lui amava tenere con sé.

Ma dopo aver visitato queste tre stanze, siamo andati a visitare il Palazzo del Monte di Pietà Vicenza un palazzo costruito tra il quindicesimo e il XVII secolo che si affaccia tra l'altro nella centralissima Piazza dei Signori a Vicenza.

Questo luogo è stato istituito ancora durante la Repubblica di Venezia, dal Doge Marco Barbarigo proprio con l'obiettivo di combattere l'usura che stava dilagando nella città di Vicenza, si voleva dare la possibilità alle persone di contrarre dei piccoli prestiti con tassi ragionevoli rispetto a quelli del mercato, mercato che era principalmente in mano a una comunità ebraica che viveva lì vicino.

Ma a un certo punto questo banco entrò in crisi, ma grazie alla figura di Bernardino da Feltre venne messo un tasso ancora più basso che comunque aiutò a far prosperare ancora di più questa istituzione che era stata creata nella città di Vicenza.

Abbiamo visitato le sale che ora sono adibite a zona amministrativa della fondazione, e poi abbiamo anche visitato la chiesa di San Vincenzo che era già stato costruito in quella zona lì nel 1300 ed è stata inglobata nel palazzo tra l'altro una delle poche chiese da come ho capito dove una volta al mese viene celebrata una messa completamente in latino.

La parte medievale di questa chiesa è stata in parte smantellata, proprio perché durante il diciottesimo secolo la chiesa praticamente è stata ampliata in stile barocco.

Devo dire che anche questa è stata una bella scoperta, anche questo, un luogo di Vicenza che di solito non è mai aperto al pubblico, oppure solo in alcune occasioni, spero che le foto che ho condiviso vi siano piaciute, io vi do appuntamento al mio prossimo post e vi ringrazio per la lettura di questo, A presto!

today I wanted to share with you my latest post regarding the Spring Fai days that took place just a week ago, this last part which always takes place in the city of Vicenza. I want to share with you some photos I took in the apartments located in the attic of Palazzo Chiricati, home to one of the most important museums in the city of Vicenza.

This part of the museum is only visitable on certain occasions. You can find a collection of great artistic and cultural interest, with various works of art by various authors including Tiepolo and Picasso. In these three rooms, we can also see the various collections of the Marquis, and the various mementos he loved to keep with him.

But after visiting these three rooms, we went to visit the Palazzo del Monte di Pietà Vicenza, a palace built between the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries, which overlooks, among other things, the very central Piazza dei Signori in Vicenza.

This place was established during the Republic of Venice, by Doge Marco Barbarigo with the aim of combating the usury that was rampant in the city of Vicenza. The intention was to give people the opportunity to take out small loans at reasonable rates compared to those of the market, a market that was mainly controlled by a Jewish community living nearby.

But at a certain point, this bank went into crisis, but thanks to the figure of Bernardino da Feltre, an even lower rate was set, which nevertheless helped to further prosper this institution that had been created in the city of Vicenza.

We visited the rooms that are now used as the administrative area of ​​the foundation, and then we also visited the church of San Vincenzo, which had already been built in that area in the 1300s and was incorporated into the palace, one of the few churches from what I understood where a Latin mass is celebrated once a month.

The medieval part of this church has been partly dismantled because during the eighteenth century the church was practically expanded in the Baroque style.
