1000 DAYS OF STEEM — The Diary Game - 11/10/2024 - A little tired at work...

It's almost dinner time, here in Italy, today I went rather slowly, because already in the morning I started accumulating delay after delay, in what way?

Simple, very simple, I got up at a normal time, for some time now, since I took on the cleaning of the stairs myself, I no longer set the alarm on Friday and Saturday mornings, I simply keep the alarm on bedside table, every now and then I look at it during the night to see what time it is, then when a time approaches in which I have to remove the tents from the night camp, I am in a sort of pre-alarm, as I don't go back to sleep more heavily and I remain in a sort of sleep-wake, until I actually put my feet out of bed, and my real day begins...

At the end of all the little things, big and small, that I had to do around the house (stops in the bathroom, wash myself, get dressed, take rags to clean the stairs and more...), I left the house around 9 and 30, a little late, but the best was yet to come for me, as I found plenty of traffic, as expected, because, for a change, a very important road junction was closed to traffic this morning, a mess, I had to passing through semi-central areas of my city, notoriously congested and slow, but the state road was decidedly worse, so, between going and returning for that single staircase in a different area from the usual ones, I lost a good half hour of time , which generated a further time delay...

Normally I would have had 4 stairs for this morning, I anticipated one from Saturday to Friday as I need to be quick tomorrow morning, I am expected at my parents' house, together with my daughters, for a shared lunch, I don't know for how long we will be able to continue doing this thing, age of my parents and more, so we go, to try to find ourselves at the table in discreet harmony, I say discreet because events don't always go the right way, I'm not a pessimist but simply a realist , I will tell you, if I consider it interesting and necessary, how it went this time, who knows why I have strange feelings about it...

Siamo quasi all'ora di cena, qua in Italia, oggi sono andato piuttosto a rilento, perché già dalla mattinata ho iniziato ad accumulare ritardo su ritardo, in quale maniera?

Semplice, molto semplice, mi sono alzato a un orario normale, da qualche tempo a questa parte, da quando mi sono accollato autonomamente la pulizia delle scale da solo, non metto più la sveglia al venerdì e al sabato mattina, tengo la sveglia semplicemente sul comodino, ogni tanto la guarda, durante la notte, per rendermi conto di che ora sia, poi quando si avvicina un orario in cui devo togliere le tende dall'accampamento notturno, sono in una sorta di pre-allarme, in quanto non mi riaddormento più in maniera pesante e rimango in una sorta di dormi-veglia, finché metto giù effettivamente i piedi dal letto, e parte la mia vera e propria giornata...

Alla fine di tutte le cosine, piccole e grandi, che ho dovuto fare in casa (soste in bagno, lavarmi, vestirmi, prendere gli stracci per le pulizie delle scale e altro ancora...), sono uscito di casa verso le 9 e 30, un po' tardi, ma il bello doveva ancora venire per me, in quanto ho trovato traffico in abbondanza, come da previsioni, perché, tanto per cambiare, un importantissimo snodo stradale questa mattina era chiuso al traffico, un macello, sono dovuto passare da zone semi-centrali della mia città, notoriamente intasate e lente, ma la Statale era decisamente peggio, per cui, tra andata e ritorno per quell'unica scala in una zona diversa dalle solite, ho perso una buona mezz'ora di tempo, che ha generato un ulteriore dilazione temporale...

Normalmente avrei avuto 4 scale per questa mattinata, ne ho anticipata una dal sabato al venerdì in quanto ho bisogno domani mattina di fare presto, sono atteso a casa dei miei genitori, insieme alle mie figlie, per un pranzo in comune, non so per quanto si potrà continuare a fare questa cosa, età dei miei genitori e altro ancora, per cui si va, per provare a ritrovarsi a tavola in discreta armonia, dico discreta perché non sempre gli accadimenti vanno per il verso giusto, non sono pessimista ma semplicemente realista, vi racconterò, se lo riterrò interessante e necessario, com'è andata questa volta, chissà perché ho delle strane sensazioni a tal riguardo...
