Ciao a tutti amici e amiche di Italy e di Steemit.

Mentre noi guardiamo grafici rossi, macro complicata e analisti che litigano su recessione sì, recessione no…un tizio qualunque ha appena minato un intero blocco Bitcoin. Da solo! (Rif.)

Blocco: 938092.
Ricompensa: 3,125 BTC.
Valore: circa 200.000 dollari.
Sapete quanto ha investito? Circa 75$ di hashrate noleggiato.

Sto provando tanta invidia!

Ha usato CKPool, un servizio che permette di minare in modalità “solo” appoggiandosi a un server di pool, e ha noleggiato potenza di calcolo on-demand.

E ha beccato il blocco!

Sbaglio o ultimamente sta accadendo spesso che qualche miner solitario riesca a portarsi a casa 3 btc!

In effetti negli ultimi 12 mesi ben 21–22 blocchi sono stati trovati da solo miner.

Certo parliamo di una percentuale bassissima, meno dello 0,05%, considerando che Bitcoin produce oltre **52.000 blocchi all’anno.

Insomma è un mix di statistica + fortuna pura!

Però rimane un'opportunità per chi ci crede e ha pazienza da vendere, perché fino a un po' di tempo fa, senza un hardware serio, non avevi neanche la possibilità di provarci.

Oggi invece si può noleggiare hashrate per poche decine di dollari e tentare il colpo sfidando la matematica!

E in un ecosistema dominato da grandi pool e numeri giganteschi, ogni tanto un “Davide” del mining trova un blocco contro tutti i “Golia” dell’hashrate globale.

Io lo trovo fantastico!
Bitcoin non cambia le sue regole... però ogni tanto premia un outsider coraggioso.

I’m not going to lie… I’m feeling a tiny bit jealous 😅

He used CKPool, a service that allows solo mining by connecting to a pool server, renting on-demand hashpower.

And he hit the block.

Am I wrong, or does it feel like lately we keep seeing solo miners landing full 3 BTC rewards?

In fact, over the past 12 months, about 21–22 blocks have been found by solo miners.

Of course, we’re talking about a tiny percentage - less than 0.05%, considering that Bitcoin produces more than 52,000 blocks per year.

So yes, it’s still a mix of pure math + pure luck.

But it remains an opportunity for those who believe and have patience, because not long ago, without serious hardware, you wouldn’t even have had the chance to try.

Today, you can rent hashrate for a few dozen dollars and take your shot, challenging the odds.

And in an ecosystem dominated by massive pools and gigantic numbers, every now and then a “David” of mining finds a block against all the “Goliaths” of global hashrate.

I honestly love that.

Bitcoin doesn’t change its rules…but once in a while, it rewards a brave outsider.
