Hi @jiva34, the game is in both free and paid versions.
So you can have fun without spending a steem.
The aim of Steem's blockchain game is to attract new users to Steemit's platform.
In my opinion, talking about gambling seems excessive for this type of game.

    Thanks for clarifying about the buying chances with steem. Playing for free gives a different perspective. Option is to gamble. But playing a game is also there. Nice. Smart move actually.
