It takes someone special to be a dad.
Happy Sunday everyone!
As written in the last post, today is still a day of celebration for me and my family!
My Dad's birthday, today we are at 75!
This will be a pretty quick post also because I have to settle down in a while and there are still so many things to do!
To celebrate tonight we're going to eat a nice pizza and maybe even a good ice cream afterwards.
This post of mine is first of all a thank you to my Dad who helped me become who I am today; I feel like a lucky person, I'm serene, I have a beautiful family and I enjoy more moments of happiness than sad so I can't but thank for this and I have to thank him mainly.
He has always believed in me, he has allowed me to make mistakes but always keeping me under his protective wing; I was able to enjoy my mistakes and exploit them to grow but today I am aware that I could never have really hurt myself because my Dad protected me.
He taught me what honesty, commitment, sacrifice are; he always put his family ahead of everything and was and still is a great example.
I hope to be a good father like he was who always made actions, ways of doing and being speak.
Someone on TV said: Facts, not punches! Well my Dad always let the facts speak.
I only want to tell a small part of the past, you must know that my Grandpa Totò unfortunately died young so my Dad had to roll up his sleeves and start working at 13.
Since my grandfather is a bank employee, my father took his place even if he held different positions; from 13 to 18 he was usher and night porter and, while he worked, he attended night school.
After graduating in accounting he started working at the cash register and gradually climbed the positions, he also came to be director; he always tells me that many of those who commanded him when he was a boy ended up taking orders from him after not many years.
I think I also took my ambition and my desire to improve and excel from him, I admit that he has always had problems with entrepreneurship but as far as work, commitment and ambitions are concerned he has never been second to none.
Well I think now I'll greet you and to conclude my post I don't think there's a better sentence than this: Thank you Dad, I love you immensely! Happy birthday!

Come scritto nell'ultimo post, per me e per la mia Famiglia oggi è ancora giorno di festa!
Il mio Papà compie gli anni, con oggi siamo a 75!
Questo sarà un post abbastanza veloce anche perché tra un po' devo sistemarmi e le cose da fare sono ancora tantissime!
Per festeggiare stasera andremo a mangiare una bella pizza e dopo magari anche un buon gelato.
Questo mio post vuole essere prima di tutto un ringraziamento al mio Papà che mi ha aiutato a diventare quello che oggi sono; mi sento una persona fortunata, sono sereno, ho una bella Famiglia e godo di più momenti di felicità che tristi quindi non posso che ringraziare per questo e, devo ringraziare lui principalmente.
Ha sempre creduto in me, mi ha permesso di sbagliare però sempre tenendomi sotto la sua ala protettrice; ho potuto godere dei miei errori e sfruttarli per crescere ma oggi sono consapevole che non mi sarei mai potuto fare male veramente perché il mio Papà mi proteggeva.
Mi ha insegnato cosa è l'onesta, l'impegno, il sacrificio; ha sempre messo la sua Famigli davanti a tutto ed è stato e lo è ancora un grande esempio.
Spero di essere un buon Padre come lo è stato Lui che ha fatto sempre parlare le azioni, i modi di fare e di essere.
Qualcuno in Tv diceva: Fatti, non pugnette! Beh il mio Papà ha sempre fatto parlare i fatti.
Voglio raccontare solo una piccola parte del passato, devi sapere che mio Nonno Totò è morto giovane purtroppo quindi il mio Papà si è dovuto rimboccare le maniche e iniziare a lavorare a 13 anni.
Essendo mio Nonno dipendente di banca mio Padre prese il suo posto anche se ricoprendo incarichi diversi; dai 13 ai 18 anni è stato usciere e portiere di notte e, mentre lavorava, frequentava la scuola serale.
Dopo essersi diplomato in ragioneria ha iniziato a lavorare alla cassa e pian piano ha scalato le posizioni, è arrivato ad essere anche direttore; mi racconta sempre che molti di quelli che quando era ragazzo lo comandavano dopo non molti anni sono finiti a prendere ordini da lui.
Credo di aver preso anche la mia ambizione e la mia voglia di migliorare e primeggiare da lui, ammetto che ha sempre avuto problemi con l'imprenditoria ma per quel che riguarda lavoro, impegno ed ambizioni non è mai stato secondo a nessuno.
Beh credo che ora Ti saluterò e per concludere questo mio post non credo che ci sia frase migliore di questa: Grazie Papà, Ti voglio un bene immenso! Buon compleanno!
