(Ten photographs of my city) Felix's Journey: A Tale of Determination, Resilience, and Redemption

Felix’s dad is the head of a department in the River State University Teaching Hospital and has always wanted Felix to be a nurse so that he can assist him in his hospital with patients. So he sent him to the School of Nursing to further his career and gain more knowledge about the nursing profession.

Felix has never liked the idea of being a nurse because he saw it as a lady’s profession, but he had no choice since he’s still under his father’s roof and he’s less than 18. Once he’s old enough, he’ll leave the house. At the age of 19, Felix left the house to fend for himself. He was very hardworking and succeeded in all he did. He built a very massive tower for his business conglomerate.

Every Saturday, Felix goes out for his sports activities. He loves to play ball at Chokmah playground. It’s part of what keeps him fit and healthy.

Unfortunately, during one of Felix's football activities, he made a strong tackle to an opponent and the opponent collapsed immediately on the field. He was rushed to a nearby primary health care center for treatment.

The doctors there were not capable enough, and the patient went into cardiac arrest. The doctors had to refer Felix to River State University Teaching Hospital, the place his father works.

By the time they reached there, it was already too late. They tried to resuscitate him, but he didn’t make it. The dead patient’s parents filed a lawsuit against Felix, and he was arrested by the police.

They sent him on trial to the Rivers State Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Council. These guys make sure criminal matters are speedily dealt with.

Unfortunately, Felix was convicted and was sentenced to prison for murder. Felix’s dad would never sit down and watch his only son be sent to prison. He made an appeal to the federal high court with his team of lawyers, and it was granted. His lawyers also asked for an autopsy report to be carried out on the patient.

Felix knew that carrying out an autopsy would cost a huge amount of money, but he was willing to do it. So, he gave his dad full access to his account at First Bank to take whatever amount he needed to make sure they won this court case.

To the glory of God, after the autopsy was carried out, it was revealed that the patient had an underlying heart condition that the parents knew about but concealed and still went ahead to charge Felix to court. Felix won the court case at the high court, and the patient’s parents were fined heavily.

Felix, out of his generous heart, forgave them, and on Sunday, he went to church for thanksgiving to thank God for delivering him from the hands of the enemy.

Well, the several tales of Felix’s life have been passed down through generations to inspire people to always follow their dreams with determination and resilience. Felix was eulogized in the national museum for his contributions to humanity through his business ventures.
