I took a look at some news regarding current events, the world of stocks and the world of cryptocurrencies, below I report the three pieces of news that struck me the most.

1-Europe: manufacturing PMI index
2-NIO: -51% in one year
3-BTC: +138% in one year

1-Europe: manufacturing PMI index
The PMI index gives a snapshot of a country's manufacturing activity, and the acronym means Purchasing Managers Index. Currently, the April data relating to the Eurozone manufacturing PMI index say that this fell from 46.1 in March to 45.6 points in April. We can say that this index therefore reflects the ability to acquire goods and services of a certain production area, taking into account new orders, production, employment, deliveries and inventories. From what I understand, the forecasts for the Euro area were quite positive because it was expected to go from 46.1 to 46.5 expected, but it didn't exactly go that way.

2-NIO: -51% in one year
NIO is the name of the shares of the company Nio and today they are worth $4.

Personal considerations
1-Europe is going through a very difficult economic period and it seems to me that it is already a good result that it is still standing (exaggerated?! Umm I don't know). I think that in any case it has resisted a rather prolonged period of economic stress and that perhaps there is something good in this Europe.
2-Regarding the equity field I would like to highlight the annual performance of NIO. NIO was referred to as China's TESLA a few years ago, but its annual performance was decidedly bad. The stock has lost around 50% in one year. I believe it is due to the fact that the company does not produce interesting profits, we will see if it can get back on its feet. A few years ago, NIO was one of the most accredited electric car companies, now the market is decidedly more competitive and there are many other alternatives. Will NIO be able to regain its former popularity? We'll see.
3-Among the cryptocurrencies that have had an interesting year is Bitcoin. BTC's annual performance is a nice +138%. Investing in Bitcoin even just a year ago would have more than doubled your capital. The last Bitcoin halving took place on April 19th, an event that halves the miners' rewards. For now the price is holding up well and we are at $66,000, for now it doesn't seem like sales have started, who knows if purchases will start in a few months.

Ho dato un’occhiata ad alcune notizie che riguardano l’attualità, il mondo delle azioni ed il mondo delle criptovalute, qui di seguito riporto le tre notizie che mi hanno colpito di più.

1-Europa: indice Pmi manifatturiero
L’indice Pmi dà la fotografia dell'attività manifatturiera di un Paese, e la sigla significa Purchasing Managers Index. Attualmente i dati di aprile relativi all’indice Pmi manifatturiero della zona euro dicono che questo e' sceso da 46,1 di marzo a 45,6 punti di aprile. Possiamo dire che questo indice riflette quindi la capacità di acquisizione di beni e servizi di una certa area produttiva, tenendo conto di nuovi ordini, produzione, occupazione, consegne e scorte. Da quel che ho capito le previsioni per l’area Euro erano abbastanza positive perché si pensava di passare da 46,1 a 46,5 previsti, ma non è andata proprio così.

Considerazioni personali
1-L’Europa sta attraversando un periodo economico molto difficile e a me sembra che sia già un buon risultato che sia ancora in piedi (esagerato?! Umm non saprei). Io penso che comunque ha resistito ad un periodo di stress economico piuttosto prolungato e che forse qualcosa di buono in questa Europa c’è.
2-Per quanto riguarda il campo azionario vorrei evidenziare la performance annuale di NIO. NIO qualche anno fa veniva definita come la TESLA cinese, ma la sua performance annuale è stata decisamente brutta. Il titolo in un anno ha perso circa il 50%. Io credo che sia dovuto al fatto che l’azienda non produca utili interessanti, vedremo se saprà rialzarsi. NIO, qualche anno fa, era una delle aziende di auto elettriche più accreditate, ora il mercato è decisamente più competitivo e ci sono tante altre alternative. NIO sarà in grado di acquistare nuovamente la popolarità di una volta? Staremo a vedere.
3-Tra le criptomonete che hanno avuto un anno interessante c’è Bitcoin. La performance annuale di BTC è di un bel +138%. Investire in Bitcoin anche solo un anno fa, avrebbe fatto più che raddoppiare il proprio capitale. Il 19 aprile è avvenuto l’ultimo halving di Bitcoin, evento che dimezza le ricompense dei miners. Per ora il prezzo sta tenendo bene e siamo di 66.000$, per ora non sembra che si siano scatenate le vendite, chissà se partiranno gli acquisti tra qualche mese.
