Forvsure it is the brain being active but it isn't said the brain (or instinct?) also swnds the message to take a step back, relax or solve problems.
Did you ever read back what you wrote after you abandoned it?

I have at times but mostly because it was dark and I was tired and have bad eyesight normally it would be very difficult to read at all and normally didn't make any sense haha
