RE: PHOTOCHAIN Challenge TESTNET - Edition number 129 [ENG | ITA]
For this time only I show what hides underneath my desk... I doubt the desk is made out of wood but the stool and wooden shoes (klompen) are. There are books, paper, brushes and paint stored as well. Not always easy to reach at, but it's better than piling it up on the floor.
book - wood - shoe
@xiao-aine @grebmot how are you both doing?
@lupega look more Ikea stuff, no not the wooden shoes.
@emmabritt @jiva34 @suryati1 @bambuka @charter, one photo is all you have to take of 'wood' and a 'book'.

You show us a lovely corner with your things. I have wooden clogs exactly like yours; my son lived in Holland for a year. It was an unforgettable experience for him and brought us closer to that wonderful country. We still have dear friends who traveled to Venezuela and fell in love with it.
I visited the Netherlands and enjoyed the flower parade in 2000. My son went there on a cultural exchange program and is still in touch with the wonderful family that hosted him. I hope that what I got to know doesn't change and that it continues to be a beautiful and responsible nation.
I hope so, but the government is certainly not responsible. We now have a minority government, which means that it is certainly not democratic and that even more taxes will be imposed on the few who work. In addition, the scandal over inadequate child benefit has still not been resolved, with hundreds of children being taken away from their parents and disappearing without trace. Families have been disrupted, married couples have split up, they have lost their homes, fallen into poverty, and all this without children, without reason. It was a mistake by the tax authorities! As a tourist, you don't notice these things, just like too many other surcharges and taxes imposed on us. Nothing looks good without a large financial contribution from a small group of workers. The minority government intends to dismantle everything. So we will have to wait and see how this develops, probably a government from Brussels, or?

I think that average shoes or wellies are heavier than clogs. You do have to learn how to walk in them because, at first, the wood hurts your feet if you don't place your feet properly, but you learn that very quickly. Small children also wear clogs in our country, and they are still available to buy. But perhaps children are better at walking in them than adults. In any case, they are no longer the average shoe and they are also quite expensive, but there are still quite a few clog makers in the country. Anyone who learns to walk in them will not get very far if they don't walk in clogs for a number of years. I myself find shoes difficult to walk in; they always hurt my toes. At least I don't have that problem with clogs.

Terimakasih temanku atas dukungannya 🙏
I agree with you, and I like this entry. The road is quite long, but in some days we'll get the results. Meanwhile, thanks for joining the edition and a big good luck!
For sure we will.
Wooden shoes definitely catch my attention
Would you like a pair too? They're expensive these days, but they keep your feet warm with a piece of newspaper inside. I still need to repair this one.
I would get a pair...more for decoration 😊
They are also good for that. If just for decoration the size doesn't matter or?
Wow! Those clogs must be heavy. I imagine it was a good investment, because that way you don't have to keep changing your shoes, hehe.
¡Guao! Esos suecos deben pesar mucho.
No, they aren't heavy at all and way warmer than farming boots. You just shouldn't jump too much.
Hahaha. I'd love to have some like that, although I was reading comments and you said they're a bit pricey. I'd definitely go around looking for some old ones for my vintage collection.
Jajajaja.
Most pricy might be the costs of sending them over, but you never know what you find for free. They have a value...😉
Hahaha. Of course. Shipping is always expensive, even within the same country.
Jajaja. Claro.
I look at the photo and cannot but help thinking it is such a personal and private one that you share. It made me think of my own private space(s) that might not look so orderly and nice in print but gives me so much comfort and peace of mind. I admire you for sharing this. Lovely one. Good luck to you ☺️
