With me it's more the shape of the Oldsmobile's. These days every car looks the same. I don't believe today's cars are give fewer protection. We drive way faster and the cars should be up to that and so are the cage constructions above our head. All those cars are tested and I bet not one of the old ones will survive these tests.
I wouldn't want to bet on that, though. Better drive safely and avoid having to take the test 😁 Though I tend to agree with you that these days almost every car looks the same except for the luxury models coming out. Like what my grandson often say, "Hey, grandpa, that car looks just like ours!"
Your grandson is so right. My son feels very annoyed this is the fact. We've been looking cars online, no need to step outside if not enough money is at hand. I better start saving again.
