Wow another interesting entry. I thought initially she was a mermaid caught by the net. But I realized she must have drowned and was recovered by the net. It's a conversational piece and it does stir up the curiosity of the viewer. So many questions beg to be asked and answered about this painting. A very puzzling but enigmatic entry.
