I’ve always found it difficult to understand these unhealthy patterns of use, both in terms of the physical devices themselves and the formats they use. It’s so alien to me...
Incidentally, my adult children turned their backs on social media completely years ago and no longer use smartphones either; they have feature phones for making calls.
Unfortunately, more and more people, both adults and young people, are falling into the social media trap. And I'm very concerned that even children are using them, often circumventing the age barrier with the help of their parents.
