Is 8 months a lot or a little?
I decided to enter the contest The World of XPILAR - PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #156 - 14STEEM in prizes! - Submissions post by @axeman.
My youngest grandson turned 8 months old the other day. Mom takes a picture of him every time on the 10th of each month with a number on the card corresponding to his age.
Usually, the grandson lies on a special mat, so this time my daughter decided to photograph him in this position. But I told her that the guy is growing up and can already stand on his own and, of course, sit!
The daughter still took a photo of my lying grandson, which he was not happy about. He was even surprised that Mom decided to put him down and resisted this violence.
My daughter said it was important to take a photo like this. She wants to photograph her son in a recumbent position 4 more times, that is, until the age of one, so that she can make a collage later.
This is my third-youngest granddaughter. She has already turned 7 years old. Over the past six months, she has matured a lot, even stopped playing many of the games she played a year ago. This year she will go to school, to the first grade. Now she is intensively preparing for school and she often performs at various concerts, so she has little free time. People say she sings very well, just like her father, my son.

My guess: it is a lot for a butterfly, but not that much for a man. Depends of the object!
Eight months are a lot AND very little. A lot of nappies, crying, cute onesies, cuddly pictures, joy and worry, hope and love. And very little experience, independence, understanding, gratitude... Eight months are everything!
Time is a relative concept.
my youngest daughter is already 15 years old... I go into her room, see her children's toys, and think - why doesn't she play with them?
My grandchildren grow up with their parents in other cities and we rarely see them. Here is Timofey, now the youngest, I see him more often than others. He is currently visiting us until March 2. Then I will go to visit him by May 1st.
It can be boring in the midst of the most beautiful toys... Especially if there are too many of them.
You're right - the time we consciously spend together is far too short. And it can't simply be made up for later... So enjoy the happiness with your little one!
