Pepper on the windowsill
Greetings friends.
I have a whole pepper factory on my windowsill. Of course, I said it so figuratively. In fact, I have 2 potted plants growing on my windowsill. I planted them exactly a year ago.
This photo was taken before the next harvest on 1.01.2024. I thought there would be no more fresh peppers this year, but I was wrong. It seems to me that there will be even more harvest after a while.
10 minutes ago, I decided to take a photo of this green factory. I was going to do this a week ago.
About a month ago, the leaves began to dry on the plants. It was their condition that made me think that the plants were dying and my mother even offered to remove them.
The fact is that it's bitter pepper, and my wife and mom don't want to use it for cooking. It's actually very bitter. 3 weeks ago, I gave almost the entire harvest harvested in January to my work colleague.
He's all excited, he and his wife love spicy food.
I think, friends, that you can see that many flowers have formed on the plants.
I have now realized that this is the third "pepper factory". The first one in the spring was infected with aphids from flowers bought in the store.
The second factory worked for 2 seasons.
I'm just interested in watching them, watching how many beautiful little peppers appear on plants. And sometimes I use them in cooking!
By the way, this photo was taken in early August last year before the first harvest from this plant.
