With last nights win by the Tampa Bay Lightning over the New York Rangers, the Lightning will now battle the Colorado Avalanche for the NHLs Stanley Cup.
The Stanley Cup is the oldest trophy dating back to 1893 that can be won by any professional sports in North America and 10th oldest in the world.
The odds makers are calling it a virtual toss up, with a slight advantage to the Colorado Avs. That said, the Lightning will be the only team to be in 3 Stanley Cup finals in a row since 40 years ago by the Edmonton Oilers. If the Lightning win, they will be a dynasty, which is very rare in all professional sports. The Stanley Cup Finals start on Wednesday, June 15th
I was fortunate to attend some games for the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs at Crypto.Com Arena with the Edminton Oilers vs. the Los Angeles Kings. Aside from an exciting series, they put on quite a pre-game show.

Great captures! It was actually a great series. Kings def scared EDM and shut them down nicely twice! Had the Kings not have all those injuries, including Drew, they could have gone to the conference finals.

So true! What is your prediction for the game today? TB has had another 3 days to practice and become acclimated to the altitude. I'm thinking TB 5-3, maybe overtime.
A 7-0 blowout was definately not my prediction. They got schooled bigtime. The clinic that the Av's put on was spectacula, and the speed and hitting was relenless. Tampa must win game 3, even if they lose the series, at least they gain some respect. Let us see tomorrow.
