Channel Winter groove

The city on the Neva is riddled with rivers and canals. In summer, boats with tourists ply on them. It's winter now and all the waters are covered with ice. I will show you a small canal called the Winter Canal that connects the Moika and Neva rivers. Now we are on the banks of the Moika and look at the bridge from which the canal begins. To see its continuation, we need to go to the other side of the Moika along the bridge and go to the canal itself.

Город на Неве пронизан реками и каналами. Летом по ним курсируют катера с туристами. Сейчас зима и все воды закованы льдом. Я покажу вам небольшой канал, который называется Зимняя канавка и соединяет собой реки Мойка и Нева. Сейчас мы находимся на берегу Мойки и смотрим на мост, с которого начинается канал. Чтобы увидеть его продолжение, нам надо перейти на другую сторону Мойки по мосту и подойти к самому каналу.

This is a view of the Moika from the bridge, on the left we see the beginning of the Winter Canal. We recently stood opposite.

Это вид на Мойку с моста, слева мы видим начало Зимней канавки. Мы только что стояли напротив.

This is the beginning of the channel on the other side of the bridge. Now we are standing on the bank of the canal.

Вот это начало канала с другой стороны мостика. Теперь мы стоим на берегу канала.

And there, in the distance, under the arch and another bridge, the Winter Canal meets the Neva.
I didn't get to this place. It was night and we had been wandering around the city for a long time. It was time to return home.
I edited these night photos a little old fashioned. Although ... this is of course not the old style, just such a post-processing option.

А там вдалеке под аркой и ещё одним мостом Зимняя канавка встречается с Невой.
Я не дошёл до этого места. Была ночь и мы уже долго бродили по городу. Пора было возвращаться домой.
Я обработал эти ночные фотографии немного в старом стиле. Хотя...это конечно, не старый стиль, просто такой вариант постобработки.
