Когда я выглянул в окно и увидел туман...я понял, что сейчас пойду гулять по ночным улицам. Правда, когда я вышел, тумана не увидел, но увидел ночные уголки привычного города. Это даже не совсем город, как мы себе его обычно представляем.

Я живу в районе, который раньше был деревней на окраине Санкт-Петербурга. Город строился, расширялся и поглощал свои пригородные зоны. Здесь всё ещё можно встретить старые деревянные дома и я ценю такую возможность. Для меня они более настоящие, чем современные бетонные коробки.

Ночью привычные места выглядят иначе, меняется динамика пространства и само пространство. Становится меньше деталей, их скрывают тени. И наоборот, свет фонарей выделяет то, но что днём не обращаешь внимания.

У нас был длительный период оттепели, даже появилась зелёная трава. Сейчас подморозило, но снег ещё не успел всё спрятать под своё одеяло. А теперь я замолкаю... предоставляю вам возможность побродить в ночной тишине там, где я люблю прогуливаться в любую погоду и любое время суток.

When I looked out the window and saw the fog...I realized that I was going to walk the streets at night. However, when I came out, I didn't see fog, but I saw the night corners of the familiar city. It's not even quite a city, as we usually imagine it.

I live in an area that used to be a village on the outskirts of St. Petersburg. The city was being built, expanded and absorbed its suburban areas. You can still find old wooden houses here and I appreciate this opportunity. For me, they are more real than modern concrete boxes.

At night, familiar places look different, the dynamics of space and the space itself change. There are fewer details, they are hidden by shadows. And vice versa, the light of the lanterns highlights what you don't pay attention to during the day.

We had a long period of thaw, even green grass appeared. It's frozen now, but the snow hasn't managed to hide everything under its blanket yet. And now I'm shutting up... I give you the opportunity to wander in the silence of the night where I like to walk in any weather and at any time of the day.
