Book: Rembrandt. Self-portraits

Rembrandt is my favorite artist, number 1 of all time for me. I can make a long list of incredible artists but Rembrandt is very different, he connects me with the depths of painting and the human being, in the most wonderful, magical, nostalgic, rich and luminous way. Somehow Rembrandt represents Art.

We have bought this book, specifically about his self-portraits, both from his paintings and prints. The quality of the book is delicious! From the brown hard cover, which has a lenticular cover that shows 4 self-portraits of him, to the golden edges of the pages, the golden letters,... Everything is beautiful!

I, without thinking or wanting to, have based my work mostly on self-portraits, especially in my photography and digital art (specifically in photomanipulation), so I am always interested in seeing self-portraits in other artists and the great Rembrandt is an absolute master.
I love seeing his face, it has always been familiar.
