Reconfiguration
I may sound a little boring already, I know, talking about textures but it's incredible how some images can transform and help the creation of an artwork. In this case the main image, in addition to the portrait obviously, was a photo or several that I took in the oven of my kitchen. I don't remember what had happened but we had to take the oven apart and wash it and suddenly I could see how those spots could be used for my digital arts so I photographed everything that interested me. A while later I was working on this image and the magic happened.
Of course I did a lot more things like painting with digital brushes and adding other textures but that image of my oven was the key.

Do it. You will not regret and enrich your images incredibly. Sometimes it can be mild, other times strong, but if you know how to deal with them, you will always add value to the work.
