The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #199 - Sleepy kingdom.

When I set out to photograph a cityscape I try to see at least a small part of the character or essence of the city I'm photographing.

Sometimes it’s difficult to do this but sometimes everything I see around me helps me with this.

I don’t know if you’ve ever felt bored in a big city when you don’t know what to do on your day off but in a small town in general, this happens too often.

In this regard a small town is something special, and no matter what small town I photograph most small towns I know will have this character.

Going out into the street and looking around, the thought comes that you are the only person who woke up that day and if you are lucky enough to see someone else on the street then it will be like a sleepy kingdom where even dogs yawn and out of boredom they want to howl.

Such a cityscape in my opinion gives a clear idea of the mood of a small city.
