Waiting and obedience.
Waiting and obedience—and especially waiting in obedience—seem pointless if there is no specific goal involved.
People who are obedient and know how to wait are less conspicuous and do not elicit the same delight as, say, a puppy that won't budge until it hears its owner's car approaching.
Yet, at some point, that puppy was given a tangible incentive—like a marrow bone or a handful of Pedigree—and that is what makes it so obedient.
But what about obedience to God, who tells you to "Wait!" yet offers no tasty treat to boost your motivation—promising only the chance to reach the heavens?
Someone might look at a reflection in a puddle and think there is nothing interesting or motivating up there in the sky... whereas I am waiting, and I want to learn obedience to God—obedience without the patience I so sorely lack... no.
But I will learn patience, too.

La vida me enseñó que la paciencia sin objetivo se desvanece, por eso la mención de Ucrania y la Sony Cyber‑shot DSC‑HX300 añaden una capa real al mensaje. Sin vueltas, ¿cómo encuentras una meta concreta que haga que la espera valga?
La familia, los hijos, los sueños son importantes, pero también están vacíos sin Dios.
