There's something that pulls me away from the ocean.
I've always felt discomfort from being wet.
And especially feared losing my breath.

But I love the ocean.
I've always loved the ocean.
I love it's beautiful waters,
It's diverse animal life,
And many mysteries yet to be discovered.

Just one touch of this blue beauty feels deadly for me.
I feel like I'll not survive.
But nothing ever happens when I do,
Except that I'm never the same after, emotionally.
Perhaps, I need to see a shrink.
