It was spring, several years ago, on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. The air was still carrying a hint of winter's chill, but the sea was already restless. I remember the way the water lapped against these ancient stones, each one a testament to time and the relentless power of nature. There's a certain quiet contemplation that comes with standing on a shore like this, watching the clouds drift by and feeling the vastness of the water stretch out before you. The muted colors of the sky and the sea created a peaceful, almost melancholic mood. I was drawn to the textures of the rocks, their rough surfaces worn smooth by countless waves. It felt like a moment suspended in time, a brief pause before the full bloom of summer. The sound of the waves was a constant, soothing rhythm, a reminder of the enduring cycles of the earth. Even now, looking at this photo, I can almost feel the cool breeze and smell the salty air.
I love photography. I spend time in nature, walking around the city. And I often take pictures when I see something interesting.
I always edit my pictures (mostly using Lightroom) and love sharing them with the community.
