🖤 Off-Duty, Still Me
Not every version of me wears a blazer.
Some nights I just sit on the floor, hair a little messy, makeup half faded, thinking about the day. Courtroom energy is intense — it demands structure, control, precision. But when I’m home, I let that armor fall.
Being a lawyer doesn’t mean I stop being soft.
It just means I know when to be firm.
There’s something grounding about these quiet moments. No arguments to win, no files to review, no deadlines chasing me. Just me, my thoughts, and a reminder that I’m allowed to rest without feeling guilty about it.
Strength isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like knowing you deserve peace too.
