WOX TRAVEL CONTEST | Barcelona

in WORLD OF XPILAR4 days ago

Today I want to share with you my experience of visiting Barcelona, which was an incredible experience, especially after fulfilling my promise to my niece. I had told her a lot about this magical city and she was very excited when I told her that I would take her there. For her, Barcelona was a real dream and the feeling of seeing her happy and fascinated by everything we did was unforgettable.

One of the first places we visited was Casa Batlló, one of Antoni Gaudí's masterpieces. This unique piece of architecture, with its wavy lines and colorful facades, looked like something out of a fantasy. We walked around the building and admired the details that Gaudí had put into the design. My niece couldn't stop smiling, and I couldn't help but be happy for her.

Then we passed by Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera, for its unconventional, rough-hewn facade. The building is the last private residence designed by Gaudí, and was completed in the early 1900s. It was impressive to see it from the outside, but we decided to go inside and have a coffee to enjoy the interior from the inside. Inside, everything was in Gaudí's style - unconventional shapes, curved lines and creative details. The railings in the staircase were decorated with wrought iron ornaments, and marble was the main material used for the floors and walls. The coffee was incredibly aromatic and the pastries we ordered were perfect. My niece kept radiating joy, and her happiness filled me with even greater pleasure.

Then we headed to a beautiful part of the city and passed by an interesting baroque-style hotel. The evening atmosphere was magical - the illuminated balconies created a fairy tale feeling with their ancient facades. Barcelona definitely has its own unique atmosphere, which is difficult to describe in words, but leaves lasting memories.

When it was time for dinner, we decided to go to El Nacional, a popular place with a variety of restaurants and bars. In this restaurant we could try different types of food and enjoy a variety of flavors. We chose to enjoy tapas - all kinds, with seafood, meat, sausages and much more.

For dessert we ordered fruit delights, which were simply perfect. It was a real culinary feast and the perfect way to end the day :)

When it was time to return home, we boarded the plane. Through the window we could see the beach. The sun was shining on the beach and the sea, which looked so peaceful and beautiful from above. I took a picture to capture this moment that will remain in my heart for a long time.
