I had not published for days and today I want to share with you how my first “Mouth Cover” was making me remember that we are still in a pandemic and we must take care of ourselves even more in this holiday season that we want so much to express love, affection, affection , etc. to our loved ones. So everyone to comply with the biosafety regulations... For me, throughout this quarantine, the most difficult thing has been to use the mask because I feel asphyxiated, especially with the disposable ones since some have fluff and make me sneeze. For this reason I use the ones my mom makes me.

Watching a craft show, I came up with the idea of making my mask myself and decided to go back to my sewing apprenticeships.

To begin, they helped me make the pattern on paper and I tell them that I thought for a moment that this would be the easiest step and it ended up being somewhat stressful.

The good thing was that I myself chose the fabric and managed to find one that did not cause me discomfort when breathing and thus avoid the feeling of suffocation.

When it was practically ready, its simple appearance made me think about putting a decoration on it and I thought about making some feline allusion. I used thread and beads to make an embossed envelope that could be easily seen, of course my skills as a seamstress are poor.

You can already see how the work is going and now I will mark the mustaches to finish giving it the appearance I want. The best thing about this mask is that I should not be aware of which is the correct side when putting it on since it is obvious.

Once the feline nose and whiskers are finished, I begin to put on the elastic bands to support it.

Although my skill in placing the earrings had improved, I had to hurry since I wanted to finish it and I was running late.
