@eminee580 HELLA WOX
Hello wox;
Today, I would like to talk about our trip to Maslak Pavilion, one of the unique historical buildings of Istanbul.
Maslak Pavilion was built by Sultan Abdülaziz. Later, in 1868, it was allocated by the sultan to his nephew, Prince Abdulhamid Efendi, and it intensely bears the traces of history. During the time he spent in this mansion, the prince also purchased surrounding lands and turned this place into a large farm. During his reign as sultan, this farm was called Çiflikat-ı Hümayun.
During the time he spent here, he lived a modest life with his family and children. It is known that the prince wrote poems, gave music lessons to his children, composed compositions and often spent time in his own carpentry workshop.
When we enter, it is possible to come across architectural works of the period. This pavilion, furnished with a modern architectural structure, takes you on a historical tour.
This group of buildings, which consists of different sections such as the viewing pavilion, the pool, the Ağalar apartment, the bath, the conservatory, the aviary and gardener's rooms, the horse stable, and the kitchen called the kitchen, takes you as a whole with nature and welcomes visitors with countless plant varieties. While Istanbul hosts so many historical buildings, it would not be possible to leave without visiting these places. Would you like to take a look at this beautiful historical structure with me and explore the historical buildings with me as if you were visiting those places?
How lucky you are if you read me and were among this historical fabric. Wishing you to always be happy. Travel, learn, have fun….
With love.
